Walter has a broad range of experience in commercial litigation matters, including real estate, financial institutions, insurance, labor/employment, and bankruptcy. Most recently, he ran his own law firm representing insurance brokers and real estate companies facing a wide range of litigation matters, and handed all aspects of complex cases from inception through trial and appeal.

Walter earned his B.A. degree from Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude. After graduating Order of the Coif at USC Law School, Walter clerked on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the Hon. Cynthia Holcomb Hall. During law school, Walter clerked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. in the agency’s fraud division.

Walter serves each year as a mock trial judge at the Loyola Law School National Civil Trial Competition, and also volunteers his time pro bono for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Veterans Project.
